The partnership provides schools, organizations and corporations unprecedented flexibility when creating e- Learning opportunities, and opens an extremely wide spectrum of possibilities around registration, reporting, user management and course delivery through a seamless and bi-directional SIS-LMS integration. Beny Lederman, CEO of Genius SIS asserts, “Today’s eLearning administrators and educators want more choices in how they deliver learning opportunities to their students. Instead of progress, performance and engagement data being siloed away in specialized systems, administrators want the ability to register, manage, and track training outcomes – regardless of how learning is delivered. By integrating Genius SIS with the eThink LMS, programs now have access to a proven platform to better manage their e-Learning initiatives as they begin to scale”.
Genius SIS adds valuable registration, user management and back-end capabilities, while eThink addresses all LMS system benchmarks including hosting, implementation, integration, consultation, and management. Through Genius SIS, clients can now have access to self-registration functionality, e-Commerce, enrollment approval workflows (including enrollment caps and waiting lists), tracking of course pre-requisites, support for learning paths and the generation of completion certificates and transcripts – key functionality to manage complex e-Learning initiatives that complement the content delivery features of the LMS.
“We’re excited to partner with Genius SIS to provide increased adaptability and delivery options for eLearning,” said Brian Carlson, CEO of eThink Education. “With real-time SIS integration, school administrators can take advantage of improved efficiencies that are only possible when an institution’s two most important systems are configured to communicate and share data.”

Clients with a SCORM Cloud account can easily upload their SCORM packages when managing their training courses in Genius SIS. Once that is done, learners are able to self-register and pay for training, gaining immediate access to e-learning content. Grades, completions, and activity flow back into Genius SIS to be used in dashboards and reports across e-learning delivery silos. The SCORM results data can also be fed into a thirdparty Learning Record Store.
In addition to student registration, Genius SIS adds valuable capabilities to SCORM Cloud content, such as enrollment approval workflows (including enrollment caps and waiting lists), tracking of course pre-requisites, support for learning paths which consist of multiple SCORM and non-SCORM content, eCommerce, and generation of completion certificates and transcripts. Users also have access to powerful dashboards and reports, and can setup automated emails and reminders to learners.
“Genius is committed to simplifying the registration and tracking of all training, regardless of delivery format, technology or platform. We believe our integration with SCORM Cloud will add powerful functionality to the richness of the content provided by SCORM Cloud today. By adding SCORM Cloud as our latest e-learning delivery option, we want to bring together silos of training data, freeing each client to choose the best learning delivery platform for their business,” said Beny Lederman, CEO of Genius.
"We are excited about the SCORM Cloud integration in the Genius SIS platform and the user friendly features such as e-commerce, learning paths and certificates that it easily lends to SCORM, AICC, xAPI and cmi5 content. Genius is a great example of how we envisioned people using the SCORM Cloud API to build useful and elegant learning solutions," said Tim Martin, CEO of Rustici Software.
